Comparing the key properties of PA6 and PA66<\/h2>\n

1) Heat resistance<\/h3>\n

In general, PA66 offers higher heat resistance than PA6 and maintains its shape and strength better at elevated service temperatures.
\nFor equipment where parts are exposed to high temperatures on a continuous basis, PA66 is usually the safer choice to minimise deformation and loss of performance.<\/p>\n

2) Mechanical strength and hardness<\/h3>\n

Both polyamide grades provide high mechanical strength; however, PA66 is typically one step higher in terms of hardness and load-bearing capacity.
